The Door
"And you shall make a screen for the door of the tent, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined bleached linen." (Exo 26:36)

The Architect of Life

Only priests may enter the door of the tabernacle.
(Those who are willing to serve their Master.)

The door into the tabernacle of Moses signifies the second major transition of our spiritual lives. The first transition was the entering of the gate, signifying repentance, the coming to Christ and accepting Him as Savior. The second transition is the going through the door into the Holy Place. The door of the tabernacle of Moses is not for everyone, but only for those who want to continue their Christian walks to the place where they will not only know Christ as their Savior, but also as their Lord.

freaky fact of life

You can't rely on anyone else to get you through the door.
Many of those that you look at for guidance can't help you.

"How terrible for you teachers of the Law! You have kept the key that opens the door to the house of knowledge; you yourselves will not go in, and you stop those who are trying to go in!" (Luk 11:52)

- Pieter de Waal

"I tell you, then, that you will be able to enter the Kingdom of heaven only if you are more faithful than the teachers of the Law and the Pharisees in doing what God requires." (Mat 5:20)

Spiritual things are for spiritual people and spiritual truths are spiritually discerned.
Those outside the tabernacle courtyard are not able to see the things on the inside without entering the gate.

Jesus answered, "I am telling you the truth: no one can see the
Kingdom of God without being born again." (Joh 3:3)

In the same way, those inside the courtyard of
the tabernacle of Moses are not able to see into
the Holy Place except by entering the door.

"Do your best to go in through the narrow door; because many people will surely try to go in but will not be able." (Luk 13:24)

Each one that goes on to take the next step into the tabernacle of Moses will be able to look back and perceive where the others are at, but those at the rear will look forward and criticize those who are doing things that they don't understand.

"Whoever does not have the Spirit cannot receive the gifts that come from God's Spirit. Such a person really does not understand them, and they seem to be nonsense, because their value can be judged only on a spiritual basis." (1Co 2:14)

It is quite possible to be inside the courtyard of the Tabernacle of Moses
and not to have your sins forgiven at the altar.

Many people accept Christ with their heads, but not with their hearts.

"They heard the message, but it did them no good, because when they heard it,
they did not accept it with faith." (Heb 4:2)

Other people may be Christians, but they are stuck in the outer court of the tabernacle of Moses and will never taste the deeper things of Christ.

"They came to Elim, where there were twelve springs and seventy palm trees;
there they camped by the water." (Exo 15:27)

Did you maybe put up camp at the Wash Basin of the tabernacle of life?

"Remember this! Whoever does not receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it."
(Luk 18:17)

freaky fact of life

Many Christians will not be able to enter the door.

"So the foolish ones went off to buy some oil; and while they were gone, the bridegroom arrived. The five who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast, and the door was closed. "Later the others arrived. 'Sir, sir! Let us in!' they cried out. 'Certainly not! I don't know you,' the bridegroom answered." (Mat 25:1-12)

The master of the house will get up and close the door; then when you stand outside and begin to knock on the door and say, 'Open the door for us, sir!' he will answer you, 'I don't know where you come from!'
(Luk 13:25)

- Pieter de Waal

It is impossible to grow spiritually unless you stop at the Wash Basin and get cleansed and separated unto God. Only then will you be able to perceive the deeper things of Christ and go through the door to fulfill your potential and achieve your purpose in life.

"Not everyone who calls me 'Lord, Lord' will enter the Kingdom of heaven, but only
those who do what my Father in heaven wants them to do." (Mat 7:21)

Funky fact of life

What is impossible with man is possible with God

"Jesus went on to say, "My children, how hard it is to enter the Kingdom of God! It is much harder for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God than for a camel to go through the eye of a needle." At this the disciples were completely amazed and asked one another, "Who, then, can be saved?" Jesus looked straight at them and answered, "This is impossible for human beings but not for God; everything is possible for God."
(Mar 10:24-27)

"Ask, and you will receive; seek, and you will find;
knock, and the door will be opened to you." (Mat 7:7)

However impossible it might seem to enter the door of
the tabernacle of life, with God it is always possible.

- Pieter de Waal
